Ribe Art Museum
The welcoming of all guests is important to Ribe Art Museum. The museum has joined the Danish label “Access Denmark”, to support your planning of a visit. Below you will find pictures and information about the accessibility. There are three entrances to Ribe Art Museum. The main entrance at the front of the building has steep stairs both outside the door and right after the door. If you want to avoid stairs, you can either park your car in the museum's car park at the back of the building and use the staffed entrance from the garden side. Or you can use the staffed entrance in the gable of the building. At both entrances, use a bell and wait for the staff to come and open the doors. Note that at the entrance to the gable there are paving stones and a slope down to the door of 5-7% and 13% in the hallway after the entrance. Once you have entered the museum, there are access to the entire museum via either stairs or a nice large elevator that runs to all floors. The toilets are located on the lower level in connection with the cafe. During summer you can sit outside on a lovely terrace or go for a walk in the garden.
