Carl-Henning Pedersen & Else Alfelts Museum
The Establishment and Design of the Museum The Carl-Henning Pedersen and Else Alfelt Museum was inaugurated in 1976 as one of the relatively few "artist’s museums" in Denmark. The work of Carl-Henning Pedersen (b. 1913) and Else Alfelt (1910 – 1974) is abundantly represented by paintings, watercolours, prints, sculptures, ceramics, glass paintings and mosaics. Today the collection comprises more than 4,000 pieces, the majority of which were donated by Carl-Henning Pedersen in connection with the founding of the museum.
